Nora Eisenberg is the recipient of ForeWord Magazine’s 2004 Gold Prize for her novel Just The Way You Want Me and author of The War at Home, a Washington Post Rave Book of the Year, 2002. Eisenberg holds a PhD from Columbia University in English and Comparative Literature and has taught at Stanford University, Georgetown University, and, for many years, the City University of New York, where she now directs the University’s Faculty Fellowship Publication Program for emerging scholars. Her short stories, essays, and reviews have appeared in such places as The Partisan Review, The Village Voice, The Los Angeles Times, Tikkun, and the Guardian UK. She lives in New York City and Narrowsburg, NY.
